Baby Mikey, Our Little Fighter... Jesus, take our Baby Mikey, hold him close until the day we can do it ourselves. You gave us a fleeting moment with our Fighter and nothing can take that away. Sometimes it is hard to remember the pain of that time. But, we draw on the strength we found in those days in the beginning of 2006. Our lives together as a family just began. Then, we had an angel come visit. Lord, give our Baby Mikey a kiss from all of us and let him know that we will see him soon enough. We love and Miss you so much you little miracle! You were unexpected and Mommy was so scared. I just was unprepared for another child so quickly after Hope was born. I did not know how much love I would feel when I heard your little heart beating nor did I expect the grief to overwhelm me again. You were to be another boy. I feel and I miss you, my son. Mariah Pilar Jones was born on June 10, 2006. I was 25 weeks pregant when my placenta ruptured. Mariah weighed 1 lB 4 OZ. Mariah was very alert and always looking around following your every move and voice. She was off the venilator 2 weeks after her birth and on the nasal prongs. She got NEC on 7-13-2006 and went to heaven on 7-15-2006. Forvever missed and in our hearts, we will never forget you Mariah, Mommy miss you and love you, but know that your in a better place and your not suffering. Mariah you are truly missed. We do have good loving memories of you. We will always remember how alert you always were, looking around at everyone following our every move and voice. It's your eyes wide open that I see always, that stays with me. Your sister miss you very much and talks of you all the time.
